I watched Joel grow up as a fine young man, a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, nephew and
friend to many. Joel was always so kind and friendly-----------he could make anyone smile.
Joel, too, kept a close eye over those he cared for, and I know he never missed a chance to take up for his brother
John, and my son, Tommy, when they were playing in the Dundee School yard or at a school event. Joel was “the
guy”. Over the years Joel has been such an good influence in the Fordsville and Dundee communities by his upbeat,
positive attitude, generosity and willingness to help others. Joel’s life will forever be a testament to his upbringing
and great character.
My deepest condolences to your families. Special hugs for my dear friend of 50+ years, Merlene. John, know that he
will forever live in our hearts and minds and cause us to remember the good times, the smiles, and the love he had for others.
May God bless your family, Dianna, and grant you strength in the coming days.
In love and friendship,
Janet Magan, Tucson, Arizona
