~ Benefit for the Spahr Family ~

As many of you know, Paul & Adrianne Spahr family are experiencing an enormous amount of medical bills. The Nashville McDonald’s graciously agreed to host a BENEFIT for the Spahr Family.

On Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5:00–8:00 pm, 25% of all LOBBY Sales will go to help the Spahr family with their medical bills.

IMPORTANT: only for Lobby sales, (not drive-thru) will be part of the 25%.

 …so on the Thursday, Sep 27th, get out of your cars and go inside McDonald’s in Nashville between 5 & 8 pm to support Paul & Adrianne in their time of need!

Start your Christmas shopping early, and get some delicious home-made treats at our Christmas Bazaar.

Purchase gift items, Christmas décor, ornaments and wreaths, craft items, knickknacks, books, jewelry and accessories, other specialty items.

Buy one-of-a kind items from our selection of hand-made knitted, crocheted and quilted items, pottery, art, wall hangings, wood items and other crafts made by our talented parishioners

Select unique paper products from our newly-expanded Patty’s Paper Pals section, including cards, desktop memo holders, gift card holders, candy treats, mini-photo albums and holiday table decorations(such as pumpkins, turkeys and Santas).

Taste the best home-made treats from Grandma’s Kitchen, which will be selling cookies by the pound, as well as pies, cakes and other delicious baked goodies.

Bid at our Silent Auction to get a themed gift basket, ready to put under the tree as a gift; or bid on one of our themed tabletop Christmas trees to save time decorating. Bidding closes at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, and highest bidders will be notified by phone. We will also have a buy-now price on all items.

Take a chance in our raffle for the “Brown County Stars” Quilt. This is a queen-sized quilt in autumn colors of orange and brown, with some green and yellow, in a unique design with stars, hand-quilted by St. Agnes Guild members and their friends (Quilters are Dolores Francis, Paulette Brester, JoAnn Garreaux, Donna Gray, Toni Page and Jean Wawrzyniak, binding by Julianna Crawley). Suggested donation amount is $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Drawing will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, in the basement of the church. Tickets will be sold after masses at St. Agnes during the month of October and at the Bazaar on November 2-3.

(Note: The Quilt Raffle is a charity-gaming exempt event approved by the Indiana Gaming Commission.)

VOLUNTEER as a St. Agnes parishioner to help set up for the bazaar on Wednesday, October 31 or Thursday, November 1, work at the bazaar on Friday, November 2 and Saturday November 3 and clean up after the bazaar on November 3.

Make the 2018 bazaar a success so that we will have the funds to carry out our mission in the parish and our charitable activities in the Brown County community.
